Abstract:
At the beginning of the founding of the People’s Republic of China, we attached great importance to the development of competitive sports as an important part of the national spiritual and cultural construction. For a long time, the training institutions of the youth sports around the country were mainly set up and operated by the government and local sports bureaus, with the main purpose of excavating and cultivating excellent reserve talents of youth sports, China’s competitive sports thus achieved rapid development. However, in recent years, the phenomenon of employment difficulties of athletes trained by traditional mechanism after retirement due to their low level of education has emerged frequently, and the contradiction between learning and training has become increasingly prominent. After more than 30 years of practice and exploration, after the theory of “combination of sports and education” was put forward, the development of the mode of combination of sports and education in some areas has still not been put into practice. In recent years, China is promoting the implementation of the “healthy China” and “all-round construction” movement. Youth sports’ training has gradually become an important component of sports service industry. The development of youth sports training institutions is directly related to the success or failure of mass sports, competitive sports and youth sports. This study starts from the perspective of “sports and education integration”, to explore and analyze the operation mode of youth sports training institutions, and provide reference and suggestions for the optimization and innovation of operation mode.
